Neuropathology

[n. neuropathology] Related to neurology and esp. neuropathy. Medical science (mostly acting as mainstream science) and specialty or state of diseases where the physical interactions between energy or body, brain or  neurons are disturbed by diseased or bad functioning tissue. Pathology is diseased tissue or the study of disease tissue. When the neurological system has functional (usually considered a state less advanced then pathological) problems it is more difficult to be diagnosed unless energetic problems are measured (see link neuropathology below). 

Neuropathy

[n. neuropathy] Pathology or damage on the nerves (or neurons). Peripheral neuropathy is distinguished when nerves dysfunction. Damage or dysfunction of a single nerve is called "mononeuropathy" and more nerves "polyneuropathy".
