Effective
Definition effect, effective, efficacy, effectiveness; medicine

Definition
Effect
[n. effect \ language] Something that is caused by something else.
Effective
[adj. effective < effect  \ language \ medicine] Producing an expected effect.* To have an expected effect, an intended or aimed effect. In clinical trials the term is often used to "prove" new medicines are "evidence-based". The real evidence and the side effects produced by clinical trials prove that evidence-based medicine are allopathic, heterogeneous or asymmetric to the disease. In homeopathy is not preferable to speak about medicines having an effect (with exception of aggravation and amelioration), the only proper "effect" is the one that cures, yes, in homeopathic provings they have an "effect", since it was not meant to be the "symmetric" or rather "similar" simillimum but producing  "asymmetric" (not similar) symptoms.
