What is the homeopathic aggravation ?
According to classical homeopathy

Question & info
What is the homeopathic aggravation according to classical homeopathy ?
Hahnemann reported this phenomena already. In § 248 - 250 of the Organon he distinctively speaks out how this phenomena expressed itself. Some principles from Hahnemann:
  1. The doses in that case must then be reduced still further and repeated in longer intervals and possibly stopped several days, in order to see if the convalescence need no further medicinal aid
  2. Every medicine prescribed for a case of disease which, in the course of its action, produces new and troublesome symptoms not appertaining to the disease to be cured, is not capable of effecting real improvement, and cannot be considered as homœopathically selected
  3. When, to the observant practitioner ... that he has made a bad selection in the medicine last given, in that the patient’s state is growing perceptibly, however slightly, worse ... by the occurrence of new symptoms and sufferings ... it is his duty to remedy his mistake, by ... the most appropriate possible for the existing state of the disease
Those are basic principles in classical homeopathy.
Hompath    Is "the substance" in the homeopathic diluted or "vaporized", in the body it will be materialized or dilated. This dilation will cause a new awareness of the body of its disease, since the dilation is not because of real "mass", but because of relativity, the aggravation is only functional, with increase of some symptoms without causing new pathology or side effects; in this way the body has an opportunity to heal itself without the "burden" or toxicity of the pathological "mass".
