Homeopathy: totality, symtomatology & holism

Question & info
What is the "totality" and "symptomatology" in homeopathy and why is homeopathy holism ?
As this site shows, homeopathy does not only contain a lot of holistic elements, but is holism. Hahnemann used the word "totality" to explain that disease is a phenomena that concerns the "whole" (holism) person:
Now, as in the cure effected by the removal of the whole of the perceptible signs and symptoms of the disease the internal alteration of the vital principle to which the disease is due - consequently the whole of the disease - is at the same time removed, it follows that the physician has only to remove the whole of the symptoms in order, at the same time, to abrogate and annihilate the internal change, that is to say, the morbid derangement of the vital force - consequently the totality of the disease, the disease itself.   §17 Organon
The way allopathy uses symptomatology was completely denounced by Hahnemann. In general classical homeopathy has adapted Hahnemann's view on the totality of a disease and symptomatology. George Vithoulkas for example wrote about (1) the mental, (2) the emotional and (3) the physical level.*

In psychiatry even the totality or "duality" of the mind and body is accepted, it is only just not a concept which does agree with their ideas of pharmaceutical treatment.**

Holism takes "totality" to a new level, being part of the "whole" universe. In §11 of the Organon Hahnemann describes that the "cultured" person (usually allopathic oriented) uses "mechanical contrivances" to explain Dynamic force, an universal force, and describes it as
absolute, specific, pure energy and action of the one substance upon the other substance
The homeopathic vision:
and so we see numerous other events about us as results of the action of one substance on another substance without being able to recognize a sensible connection between cause and effect
A lot of efforts are done to describe holism in homeopathy since.

Info on Hompath site
This site especially explorers holism on the areas of homeopathy, psychology and physics. This site denounce the way allopathy use symptomatology. Relativity is considered the base "mechanism" of homeopathic dilutions. Psychology is e.g. the mental expression of the body and universal laws. See below, "Articles with holistic features"

* The science of homeopathy, by George Vithoulkas, chapter 3: The human Being Functioning as an Integrated Totality.
** Interpretation of DSM-IV Introduction; Definition of Mental disorder:
the term mental disorder unfortunately implies a distinction between "mental" disorders and "physical" disorders that is a reductionistic anachronism of mind/body dualism....we have not found an appropriate substitute
