How long do does one homeopathic dilution work

The "working time" of homeopathic dilutions depends on the patient, the simillimum of the remedy and can be differentiated in different stages :

1. The "proving" of the remedy, meaning the real action of the remedy, which usually don't exist in the case of a simillimum and can be sensed a few seconds to months when the remedy is similar or not at all similar (then usually shorter)
2. When a single dose of the remedy is the simillimum or similar it probably aggravates certain symptoms, it takes usually about 3-6 weeks before the condition ameliorates, independent on the potency
3. As a result on stage 2, in this stage the remedy (dilution) is invisibly present as a "mark" for years in the system improving health gradually, sometimes causing an aggravation or amelioration and influencing other archetypical patterns, when the remedy is not similar it is sometimes called a miasm
