How many times should a homeopathic remedy be repeated: None. A accurate remedy prescribed on the simillimum affects directly the Dynamis, "the central disturbance" (Sankaran), one dose of a single remedy is often enough to heal the disturbance of the Dynamis. A modificated dose might be repeated after months or years if the same homeopathic picture appears again, but if this is too soon one can asked oneself whether the remedy is still the simillimum and whether there is no other blocking event. To repeat a dose is an allopathic or quack reflex, it is fighting the disease; the purpose of the homeopathic remedy is to let the body cure itself.

Hahnemann wrote in the Organon that if a "dose" is repeated (LM potency), it should be slightly modificated, this means even then, the same dilution is not repeated but it is altogether the same dose. See also How long do homeopathic dilutions work

Clinical and complex homeopathy often use low D and C potencies which are repeated, this practice is questionable
