Jung uses the word libido as psychic
energy, this is conscious as well as subconscious energy. According to
him it is also related to lust and is manifested in the conscious as ambition,
desire and will. This enables
the person to do psychic work. This psychic energy is strongly connected to
sexual energy.
This site connects the libido more specifically with universal
energies, especially gravity,
which are liable to universal laws or
principles, especially the sensing personality types seem to be strongly
